How To Do a Moroccan Bath
1. Prepare your Moroccan Red Clay
Mix 2 tablespoon of Moroccan Red Clay with equal amount of water (rose water is a great alternative) until it form a smooth paste and set aside.
You can enrich this mix with yogurt or honey - No rules here!
2. Get your bathroom steamy
Shut your bathroom door and windows. Fill your bathroom with steam by filling your tub with hot water and let it run until your room is steamy.
If you usually feel dizzy staying in steam for a while, you can replace this step by staying in the hot tub with the max. water temperature your skin can bear.
3. Hydrate yourself
Make sure to stay hydrated the whole duration of the process. Bring your water bottle with you. Leave the room if you start to feel faint!
4. Open your pores
Sit in the steam or hot water for 10 to 15 minutes. This will allow your pores to open and get ready to be fed.
5. Apply the Moroccan Soap
Start applying the Moroccan Natural Soap as a mask all over your body. You can add it to your facial skin, but remember to avoid mouth and eyes.
Let your skin masked for 15 minutes then soak yourself again in water and wash off the soap.
6. Exfoliate with Moroccan Loofah Mitt
Step out of the water and start rubbing your skin with the Moroccan Loofah Mitt in circular motions from down to up.
Severity of rubbing depends on your skin type.
Try to get help rubbing your back as well. You will not do much until you will be able to see your dead skin roll out and your new baby skin glow!
7. Apply Moroccan Red Clay mask
Apply the Moroccan Red Clay mix all over your body and let set for another 15 minutes and rinse off. Remember to protect your eyes
if you apply it on your face.
8. Rise, dry & moisturize
Rinse out the mud, dry your skin, and you are done!
Your new skin is now fresh and fragile. Remember to deeply moisturize it for at least 3 days after your bath to avoid dryness and to enjoy its softness as long as you can!
Hang your loofah to allow it to dry. Store your soap jar in a cool dry place.
